I enjoyed visits to many village churches and the warmth of their welcome was humbling. I was often weighed down with the many leis that were hung round my neck.
Many lessons could be learned from them in respect of humility and hospitality. In an area where there is fierce opposition to the Gospel in this
militant Hindu society I counted it a privilege to be able to speak at open air Gospel meetings in many places and invite people to accept the wonderful
salvation freely offered by Jesus. I would estimate that well over 1,000 men, women and children made a positive response to the Gospel call. Many also
testified to healing as we prayed nightly for the sick and infirm.
In addition to these visits, Pastor Joshua has been very influential in promoting the 'Unity' book. Not only did his wife translate it into Telugu, but he
has helped to oversee the printing and distribution of some 20,000 copies throughout Andhra Pradesh. None have been sold and all are given freely as an
extension of ministry. Thanks to him, I have also been able to see the first print run of the book in Swahili. 'Unity' has now also been translated in
Hindi and as soon as sufficient funds are to hand I hope to see the first print run in Hindi.
The The Telugu version of the Unity book is available for free download from this website.
